Maudsley Personality Inventory (MPI) is a tool created in 1956 to measure two core personality traits: extraversion-introversion and neuroticism.
Extraverts prefer noisy social gatherings, active pursuits, and make friends easily. Introverts, on the other hand, gravitate toward solitude, tranquility, and reflection.
Neuroticism reflects a tendency toward anxiety, worry, depression, and pessimism. People with low neuroticism are generally calmer, more self-confident, and optimistic.
